Flight Physicals
Pre-register online at https://medxpress.faa.gov. (Orange Button link above)
Save a pdf of the form with confirmation number. Email instructions available upon appointment confirmation.
(Make sure to CONFIRM AND SUBMIT before saving the form.)

Get an eye exam and glasses if you have had a change in your vision.
If you have a Special Issuance, bring your letter and all required medical information from and for the FAA.
If you have a chronic medical condition, bring the required medical records.
If you have borderline high blood pressure, see your personal physician for evaluation and treatment.

DON'T take a decongestant, drink too much coffee, smoke a cigarette or other stimulants (to avoid raising blood pressure).
DON'T forget to bring your S.O.D.A. (Statement of Demonstrated Ability), if applicable.
DON'T forget your glasses!

The flight physical consists of a medical exam (including urinalysis), vision test, hearing test and, if necessary, EKG. When all tests and your physical exam is completed, you will receive a Medical Certificate if you qualify.
